This litter is a pleasure to sift. For years, my husband and I had been using pellet litter made from recycled paper. It did the job well enough as a low-tracking, chemical-free option, but it was a nightmare to sift. EcoLeo's pea husk plant-based litter is a dream: It's made with nontoxic ingredients, clumps incredibly well (blobs have the consistency of pie crust dough), works nicely with our standard sifter, smells great, keeps odor at bay, and is virtually dust free. And, as advertised, it's low tracking (yes, really; we put it to the test by placing a dark blanket under our three litter boxes, and it passed with flying colors). Even deep-cleaning the litter boxes is a breeze: Spritz any dried litter residue with a little vinegar, wait a couple of minutes and then wipe away. We like this litter so much, we signed up for the subscription service (given what we had been paying for the pellet litter at the pet store, it just made sense). Thank you so much, EcoLeo, for creating such an impressive product!
I've tried all types of litter. I stick with crystal litter because it neutralizes the urine smell that I'm extremely sensitive to.
I cautiously tried this for our multi cat setup because I wanted something that would track less than crystal litter. Let me tell you I have completely converted to this type of litter now. It's like witchery in its magical performance. I'm absolutely blown away by how well it works and how long it lasts. And it hardly tracks!!!
The pellets are small and clump really well, which makes scooping simple without crumbling apart. It’s unscented and does a fantastic job with odor control. Almost no dust and overall quality feels way better than expected for a plant based option. Value is really good considering how long this litter lasts.
Pros:
• Low dust
• Good clumping
• Reduced tracking
• Easy scooping
• Locks in smells extremely quickly
Cons:
• Zero
Overall, I’d highly recommend this litter. If you're thinking about trying it - DO IT - you won't be disappointed.
Omg I LOVE THIS LITTER!!! It clumps perfectly for urine or loose bm's.
And doesn't track thru house !! YAY I love my cat's long fur between his toes, so it's a problem for me with most litters . PROBLEM SOLVED

Thank you for trying our new cat litter! We are so happy your fur babies like it :)
Wow, lasts a month in a 3 cat house. I have 3 cats. That alone makes finding a quality litter difficult. One cat tinkles in the same exact spot in the litter box which reduces the effectiveness of most litters. Enter EcoLeo, a litter that actually clumps and does not fall apart, especially when scooped! This litter traps both the moisture and the smell and is very easy to scoop without sticking to the plastic litter box. The reduction of tracking because of the larger litter has saved me time and frustration in vacuuming. I also worry less because the litter does not stick to my cats' paws so they aren't ingesting it. I have used this litter for 3-weeks, scooping every other day, and it is still retaining its clumping power and odor control. I like that there is zero scent as I hate the fake floral smell of most litters. One bag filled a huge litter box and because it will last at least one month, this is an excellent value for the cost! I did initially mix this litter with my other strong clumping litter as is advised so the cats can adjust. I will probably continue to use this in tandem with my other litter to extend the usage. This works very well, especially in a multi-cat house. I have tried every litter out there and the EcoLeo is my new favorite brand for the quality and effectiveness. And yes, it is dust free!
Dust-free and cats like it. I tried several different litters when I recently adopted two cats and EcoLeo is the best in terms of actually being dust-free (as possible), clumping, unscented and fairly low tracking. It is made of pea husk and corn so is biodegradable. I do mix it with another biodegradable wood-based litter because the EcoLeo bags are small and the cost adds up for two cats (multiple litter boxes). The other litter is also clumping and fairly dust free (and comes in larger size bags) and the natural wood scent is pleasant so I may go on mixing them as (most importantly) the cats have no objections. But if I had to pick, EcoLeo would be my first choice right now.
I've tried quite a few plant-based or "tofu" style litters in the past year, and so far I think this is my favorite. It doesn't have a noticeable scent, whereas most of the others have a light but strangely sweet smell that I actually find unpleasant. Like other litters of this type, it comes in the form of small cylindrical pellets that are larger than the small pieces of traditional clumping litter. I recommend using the type of scoop I show in my photo, which has two different sections with different size holes. That has made it easy for me to get the clumps in the scoop and get the stray pieces of unused litter back in the litter box.
My favorite thing about this type of litter definitely holds true for this product: it is nearly dust-free. It absorbs liquid and clumps very well, making scooping it a breeze. I can't properly assess how much this litter is tracked, because my cat Emmy just loves kicking litter all over the place when she's in the box. However my recently passed older cat was using a different litter box for the last few weeks she was with me, and it does seem that while tracking isn't high it also isn't zero.
I’m glad to have found this litter and I recommend it for anyone willing to pay a little more for a quality plant-based litter.
I got this Cat Litter for our multi-cat house because I wanted something unscented, lower dust and easier on odor control without that heavy “litter perfume” smell. Overall, this has been a really good switch.
The first thing I noticed was the low dust when I pour it in and when I scoop. There’s way less cloudy dust strewn into the air compared to a lot of clay litters.
Clumping has been reliably strong as long as you keep enough depth in the box. It forms har clumps that are easy to remove without crumbling into a million pieces. Odor control has been surprisingly good for an unscented, plant-based litter especially with daily scooping.
A couple honest notes:
• Low tracking is true compared to many litters but it’s not completely track-free. I still see a few pellets outside the box. An antitracking mat helps grab what little does it tracked out.
• If your cats are heavy diggers, you may still want to top off regularly to maintain clump strength.
If you’re trying to move toward a more natural ingredient litter that’s biodegradable, low-dust and not fragranced, this one feels like a solid middle ground: clean, highly absorbent, and easy to manage especially for multi-cat homes.

This litter definitely looks different from anything else I've ever used, but it does seem to work very effectively. I haven't noticed any smells from the litter box in the first week of use, and it doesn't get tracked all over the room like my usual litter does. It had virtually no dust that I could see and it does a decent job of clumping which makes scooping much easier. It's a little expensive for how much you get, but it also works quite a bit better than the cheaper litter that I've been using.
I’ve been looking to switch to plant-based litter for a few weeks now, and honestly, this is one of the best litters I’ve tried! Trying to do a lot of product swaps in my life now. Right out of the bag it felt much easier to lift and pour than normal litter, and I noticed a big difference in dust—virtually none when pouring it and a much cleaner air around the litter box.
The clumping is impressive. Firm, solid clumps that make daily scooping easy. Odors locked in, and I don't miss the chemical-smell of store-brand litters.
There’s much less litter scattered around the floor. Biggest pet peeve is stepping on little litter pieces!! My cat took to this litter quickly too, which was a relief.
Great performance, fast shipping on Prime, low mess, and eco-friendly, highly recommend!
We travel with our four cats, and traditional clumping litter is a horrible PIA to clean out of my husbands SUV afterwards. A few years ago we traveled with the furry clan and he threatened to just go buy a new vehicle if I wasn’t able to return his vehicle to showroom condition. Eye roll, but a whole lot of work later, we kept his SUV. After more trips and various experimentation— this type of litter is WAY easier to vacuum up than the tiny little pellets of clay clumping litter, and it doesn’t track as bad to start with. One of my cats will only use unscented litter, so this particular one fits her needs/preferences too. It clumps well, produces way less dust than clay litters, and it’s the travel litter of choice forever after. I’ve even been known to just fling it out the window in stinky car emergencies into grassy areas— it’s biodegradable! The cats and I are pleased.
